Do The Thing! Cyber Monday Edition
Is anyone else driven absolutely batty by the "12 Days of Black Friday" emails this week? They started last week leading up to Friday, then Saturday had "surprise" extensions of those sales, then today is "Cyber Monday" and guess what? Businesses are just going to keep saying they have stuff on sale even though the prices aren't that good, and that it's your LAST CHANCE (it's not) to create a sense of urgency in the desperate hope you'll buy a whole bunch of stuff you don't actually need to love or feel loved.
Sorry, I'm breathing, I promise.
If you've sent me an email this week, I probably missed it, because I'm mass-deleting stuff to keep my peace.
Here's a fun alternative to taking the online shopping bait this morning: Come hang out with me and your fellow subscribers at 11am Eastern to check in and see what we actually want to prioritize today. It's so much better for your mental health than replacing your perfectly functional TV with a different TV, I promise.
