Do the Thing - Text Check-In Today

Hi folks!

It's a bank holiday in the U.S. and I have roughly One Million errands to run today before driving to Montreal tomorrow (!) for the Folk Alliance International conference, so we'll be checking in here in the comments rather than having a video call today.

I'll start:

I have to pack for two separate trips that have very different weather requirements, so I'm going to spend time sorting clothes and figuring out what needs to go in which suitcase so that Future Me isn't scrambling to switch everything out in the two days I'm home between travels.
